Just got back from about an 800 or so mile weekend run to OC. We (nation and me) took the 8 out cause it's just a nicer ride. Couple of the boys escorted us out so I was happy with that-take em out, bring em back. After a fill up of Mexican food in Yuma ( A DRY MEXICAN RESTAURANT! NO BEER OR BOOZE, FUCKIN JAKE!) we said our good byes and we were soon on our way up the 5 towards San Clements then to Ortega for a little camping with the ol crew...
by the time we got in the road had us beat. it's a long ride man. a long one. filled with cross winds, T RANTS, and god damn godzilla's baby sized bugs. Instead of a barge to the camp site we decided to stay the night in San Clemente, beer, pizza, some god damn jamming...alright. Crazy Kyle was down from Berkley...and dude was ready to get us fired up.
I think i might of been the last one standing...
next morning we got our supplies and were five bikes deep en route to the ortega highway. After we picked a spot and put the tents out we realized the beer wasn't arriving for a while so we set out to find a nearby bar off the high way. caught a flat on top of the ridge and hitched a ride down to Temecula to fix the flat. Within two hours, two giant Newcastles and about 1 and half Waylon records deep at the pool hall the harley boys had me back on the road and I was on my way to meet up with the homies at the camp site...
